How long have you been improvising, and where? Since 1985. Alaska, Seattle, & Spokane.
What is your educational background? BA, Philosophy, Rutgers University, 1963, JD, Golden Gate School of Law. 1967, MS, Applied Psychology, Eastern Washington University, 2003
What is your theatrical background? Jill Berryman Dance Troupe, Mime training, Contact improvisation with Quirks (an Oakland CA. movement collective), scripted theater with Pier One productions, numerous improv and theater trainings over the last 20 years.
What is your career goal, or if you are where you want to be, what are you doing now? Other than to continue improving performance and production skills I am where I want to be career wise. I am a rostered Artist In Education in Washington and Alaska and use and teach improvisation and drama in a variety of settings including; alternative high and middle schools, drug and alcohol recovery centers, team and leadership trainings, communication workshops, therapeutic settings, and theater programs.
Why do you improvise? To feed the gods of magic, mystery and laughter.

What are your hobbies, what do you spend your time doing outside of work and the Blue Door? Fighting gravity, playing with grandkids, family,friends,fishing, and movies.
