| How long have you
been improvising, and where? |
I improvised for 3.5 years at Whitman College Theatresports, taking a
semester off while in England. |
| What is your
educational background? |
Graduate of Freeman High School. BA in English and Theatre at Whitman with a focus on graduating. |
| What is your
theatrical background? |
My Theatrical background more or less mirrors my educational
background. I did a lot of theatre in high school and when I went to college I did a lot of small roles in plays and lots of background crew stuff. I mainly
focused on the needs of the campus improv troupe. |
| What is your career
goal, or if you are where you want to be, what are you doing now? |
I'm getting to where I want. The company I work for is great and
we're just trying to grow at a steady pace. I'm the office manager for
Opportunity Industries. It's a mechanical and janitorial service company for
commercial accounts specializing in conveyor installation, maintenance and repair. But we do a lot of other stuff too. It's totally rad. |
| Why do you improvise?
|
Before I graduated college I didn't drink coffee or even soda. I was really sensitive to caffine. After graduation I could barely make it through the day without a heart attack serving of caffine. I chalked it up to the natural aging process. The real problem: Lack of Improv. |
| Where are you from? |
Born in Spokane. Raised on Mica Peak mountain - one mile from the top.
That is the mountain south of Spokane with a little dome on top. My dad
has a big beard. |
| What are your
hobbies, what do you spend your time doing outside of work and the Blue Door? |
Poorly skateboarding and moderatley juggling. |
